PERTANIKA
Journal of Quality of Life Studies

About the Journal
The Pertanika Journal of Quality of Life Studies (JQoLS) is an international, peer-reviewed journal published by UPM Press. It serves as a multidisciplinary forum for scholarly work on quality-of-life (QoL) and subjective well-being at the individual, community, and societal levels, with particular relevance to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The journal welcomes contributions that strengthen theoretical understanding, provide robust empirical evidence, advance measurement approaches, or offer insights with practical or policy relevance. While JQoLS places particular emphasis on research informed by Southeast Asian contexts, it equally values studies from other regions that demonstrate clear international relevance and contribution.
JQoLS publishes full-length research articles and scientific brief reports. The journal is published biannually, in June and December. All submissions are handled through the ScholarOne Manuscripts system and undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
There are no submission, review, or publication fees for authors.
